PostSubject: (GRiM3KiD x) Reading 2 - 0 Doncaster (SingalongBasson)   Mon May 11, 2009 10:57 am

Week 3.

(GRiM3KiD x) Reading 2 - 0 Doncaster (SingalongBasson)

Reading Goals:

D Lanzafame
J Harper

GoodGame, A good start to the league with Readings first win of the campaign, Reading seemed to dominate the match from start to finish with Doncaster creating little chances apart from the occasional run which was seen out by the defense. This game gave me the chance as manager to test players out to see what they were capable of and to simply play the park. A great match for young star J Rodwell, he held the team together and looked like one for the future today. Also great play from J Harper, with a great finish coming on in the second half. A great overall game for Reading today. COMMON YOU ROYALS!

MOTM - J Rodwell (9)

Week 1

Coventry 5 - 0 Wigan

Coventry's first fixture of the season was against recently relegated Wigan, a team with players such as Shevchenko and Kanu upfront who are always a danger. The players were welcomed to a warm reception as they stepped out onto the pitch, and after everything was ready the game could underway. Coventry took the initiative early on; £15m signing Salva Ballesta slashed a shot side of Dida’s far post. In the first 15 minutes Coventry were all over Wigan, but some fantastic stops by Dida kept the sides level, the giant Brazilian keeper didn't look like he could be beaten. Coventry kept rifling shots at Dida from in and around the box but still there was no way through, until the 25th minute. Midfielder Migliaccio played a superb ball to Kieta and continued his run Kieta exchanged passes with Ballesta until Migliaccio was in space, the ball found him as he calmly stroked the ball home from a tight angle, the home fans were ecstatic! After the goal Wigan attempted to go to the wings but Bovo and Godin stood their ground well preventing any crosses coming in. It looked like Wigan would only be 1-0 down at the break but Kieta found some space and did what his strike partner couldn't, he blasted the ball past Dida into the top corner to double Coventry’s lead!

The second half was dominated by Coventry but Salva Ballesta was struggling to make an impact after missing two further chances, Jason Roberts replaced him after 66 minutes. It wasn't long before Roberts made an impact, his pass picked out Kieta who buried home his second of the game, 3-0 Coventry! Roberts went from provider to scorer, a great attack was finished beautifully by Roberts, 4-0 and the game was certainly beyond Wigan. With one minute to go super sub Jason Roberts converted Kieta’s pass from a tight angle to wrap up a great game at the Ricoh Arena, final score Coventry 5, Wigan 0.

MOTM - Jason Roberts (10)

Scorers -

Coventry - Migliaccio 25', Keita 45' + 71', Roberts 75' + 89'

PostSubject: (Praisejebus1977) Crystal Palace 3 - 3 Reading (GRiM3KiD x)   Tue May 12, 2009 3:16 pm

Week 1.

(Praisejebus1977) Crystal Palace 3 - 3 Reading (GRiM3KiD x)

Reading Goals:

D Lanzafame x2
B Wright-Phillips

Crystal Palace Goals:

V Moses x3

EvenGame, The game was 3-0 to Crystal Palace until the comeback was on, when firstly B Wright-Phillips pulled one back and then D Lanzafame scored however the connection went, when D Lanzafame was celebrating, so I contacted him and his game had froze also so we decided to play the last 25 minutes of the match but when I scored on the 25th minute on the second match he said we was only suppose to play 18 minutes, funny how he didn't say the match was over on the 18th minute? I believe it should be a draw as I comeback from 3 goals, deserved the draw and this would be the fairest result as it was 100% fair. I really will be disappointed if he gets the win Neutral He also started being abusive down the microphone when I scored in the second match. COMMON YOU ROYALS!

Week 4.

(GRiM3KiD x) Reading 3 - 1 Ipswich (Supermunky16)

Reading Goals:

D Lanzafame x2
B Wright-Phillips

Ipswich Goals:

D Odonkor (I Believe)

GoodGame!, What a result for the battling promotion side, Reading. I hit the post and crossbar in the first 14 minutes until D Lanzafame opened the scoring. B Wright-Phillips then added the second and the score was 2-0 at half time. Ipswich grabbed a early second half goal and at that point I believed they could bring it back however D Lanzafame was there to finish again and the score was 3-1 until the 80th minute when he quit the game and went to the dashboard. He stated "Yeah cus i refuse 2 play the rest", he said it was because I boost? and he added he had message admins, you can ask any player, I have played such as "MatWilson", "I SLAP YOUR DAD", "Keeno1984" and they can see I DO NOT BOOST, why would I need to when I have a good team. I don't even know how? COMMON YOU ROYALS!
